This
December LWE have a party for any electronic music fan, as we join
forces with Mobilee records to bring a night of forward thinking mayhem,
showcasing some of the techno circuits most respected names. The host
for such showcase will be one of London’s best warehouse spaces- The
Sidings. A favourite of LWE with three arches, located under a railway
bridge in Southwark. If that wasn’t enough to sell it to you- the after
party will be hosted by the guys at Jaded, with some special guests to
be announced soon. Watch this space!
Mobilee
records launched in 2005 and quickly established itself as one of the
brightest new stars within the hub of Berlin’s glittered techno scene.
Quickly making a name for themselves the label owned by Anja Schneider
and Ralf Kollmann have the knack of matching stellar line-ups with
radical off locations.Holding a sound that is simultaneously familiar yet innovative, and rooted in the classic structures of house and techno, Mobilee has harnessed the triple threat approach in it’s approach. Its records reference vintage dancefloor minimalism, engage with like-minded contemporaries, and suggest surprising new directions for the genre.
Whether they’re putting on parties in sandy urban riverside beaches, hillside swimming pools or on soaring hotel rooftops, it's no secret that the brains behind Mobilee have a knack for the unexpected. Never one to follow the crowd, Mobilee marked its fifth year in 2010 with a celebration tour that crossed all six continents! Leaving no rock unturned, Mobilee set out once again on a thorough exploration of every lane, grove, drive, square and road in the city of London to bring you the Warehouse Session on December 8th, 2012.
